I am currently having a problem with my Traktor S4 working with my HP Dm4t Laptop. To begin, I'll rattle off my computer specs:
• Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-540M Dual Core processor (2.53GHz, 3MB L3 Cache) with Turbo Boost up to 3.06GHz
• 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) HD 5450 switchable graphics [HDMI, VGA]
• 8GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
Now, let me explain my situation. I used to run Traktor 2.1 or 2.0 in Fall of 2011, and it ran just fine. No crackling, no audio drop-outs.. Nothing. Now I upgraded to Traktor 2.5, and I'm having all sorts of audio drop-outs and crackling. However, when I ran a cached version of 2.1, I WAS STILL HAVING audio drop-outs and crackling.
The oddest thing is, I've adjusted latency, my CPU is never in high percentage usage, and my load usually never passes 1/4 of the bar. My computer specs should be more than enough to run Traktor fluidly, and it has before. But now, just recently I've had problems running Traktor 2.1 and 2.5. If I turn off my wi-fi, and close all programs then I can get it to run without crackling, HOWEVER, I never had to do that before..
Any suggestions as to what the problem may be?
I do not believe it is my CPU or background processes.

Traktor Pro 3 Audio Dropouts
Hey guys
Well after singing the praises of the S4 to everyone and their Mums since I got it I've had my first bad experience with it.
After months of gigging with no problems I played out tonight and had a complete nightmare with dropouts every 4-5 seconds. It was completely unusable and I had to give up on the set, loosing a fair bit of money and looking like a complete idiot as I had a crowd around me checking out the S4. I had a look at the S4 diagnostics and it was showing LOADS of USB Data errors. System performance was fine with a few peaks but nothing major.
Not sure what might have happened as it has been flawless so far, the only thing is I updated to Traktor 2 a few days ago (which I haven't really tested properly, presuming that if anything it would be even more stable, my own fault there).
If anyone has any ideas on this it would be appreciated, I'm pretty gutted right now. I'm running a C2D 2.5ghz HP dv2899ea laptop with 4gb ram and Windows 7 64bit. Like I said nothing has changed except the new copy of Traktor.
I've actually got another gig tomorrow night so really need to get this sorted before then. I'm in the process of rolling back to the old S4 software and I'll check out the beta driver for the S4 now. Out of interest did Traktor 2 come with a new driver for the S4?
Cheers for any help
